This charming outdoor wedding in Linesville Pa took place just a short drive from the couple’s home at a popular park. The park offered an adorable pond that the ceremony overlooked. After the bride was walked down the aisle by a close family friend the couple exchanged vows in front of their closest family & friends. Following the ceremony we captured their formal photos on the gorgeous shaded walking path at the back of the park, which the bride loves to visit. Then, the couple made their way back to their property where a lively outdoor reception was planned with their guests. We stayed to capture their cake cutting.

Robert & Sarah’s wedding at Beach Glass Estates in North East, Pa was full of sweet, soft love. The couple tied the knot on a warm evening overlooking the cliffs of Lake Erie surrounded by their closest family only. They purposely planned their ceremony to allow us to capture formal photos during the glorious Lake Erie Sunset. After the ceremony the couple enjoyed a first dance together before we headed down to a nearby beach to capture the romance of the day. Later, the couple celebrated their reception in a cute beachside cottage with their families. Very important to the couple were their children. They included a sand ceremony in which each child had their own jar of sand to pour into the new family vase. Robert & Sarah’s wedding at Beach Glass Estates was one of the most sentimental weddings we had the honor of capturing this season.

This charming wedding in North East Pa took place during the height of the Covid shut down. Matthew & Susan had originally planned a September wedding for 2020 but when colleges and universities shut down, they found themselves home sooner than they intended. And with no clear end in site decided to bump their wedding up to May and alter plans a bit. Both the bride & groom come from large familes so with the restrictions only parents and siblings attended besides the couples two best friends who served in the bridal party. With the changes to her wedding Susan decided to expand her color pallette to a bright, vivid, and cheery array that suited the warm day perfectly. After a beautiful ceremony at First Baptist Church in North East, the couple held a buffet style luncheon at the church. Brunch was served to the small group and much fun converstation flowed. Our teams at Erie Photography & Erie Videography captured the proceedings.

Wonderful Wedding at The School House in Fairview, Pa
Man oh Man. It is NOT very often that I begin a wedding description like that. BUT, Chris & Jenn’s Winter Wedding at the School House in Fairview, Pa deserves it. There was not a dull moment all day long. This couple has to be the most hysterical and fun loving wedding we have ever served.
To begin with, Chris & Jenn hosted their wedding at the School House on Leap Day. A lot of joking about how many anniversaries they would be celebrating took place. Secondly, both of them kept us on our feet the entire time. Not in a bad way either, we couldn’t stop laughing because you never knew what was going to happen next. Because of the cold weather (It was literally below freezing that day) the entire wedding took place inside the venue. The first floor of the School House was set up for the ceremony to take place in front of the vintage teachers cabinet installed in the wall. The Groom kicked off the fun by entering to ‘Sexy and I Know It’ wearing leopard print stripper pants over his tux..which he of course teasingly removed at the end of his dance. The Bridal Party entered from the backstairs to the ‘Milkshake’ song. Erie DJ Entertainment expertly controlled the unique music selections by the newlyweds during the ceremony. The guests had a hard time calming themselves back down for the bride’s entrance after those fun surprises. To continue the fun, the couple had the most unique version of a Unity Ceremoney we’ve ever witnessed. The couple and their children combined their favorite candies into one dish. And, to wrap up the ceremony the bride dipped the groom during the first kiss! It was one of the most memorable ceremonies ever for us.
Following the lively ceremony the guests were ushered into the lower level of the venue for cookies and cocktails. Meanwhile, the bridal party braved the freezing weather as long as they could for some glorious outdoor photos on the property. The sky was a brilliant blue and the fluffiest white clouds dotted the horizon behind them. After those frigid but beautiful photos we made our way back in for some energetic reception celebrations! Erie Photo Booth was set up downstairs for this wedding at The School House in the bar area for the guests to enjoy. Dinner, Cake Cutting and Dancing all took place on the first floor which had been reset by the venue staff. The cake was adorable. It was topped by little wine cork newlyweds. And there was a groom’s cake previewing the bride passed out in the honeymoon suite. Every last detail perfectly represented the couple…down to the last song of the night…which I can’t really tell you here. It was just a touch inappropriate for nice company. Wink. I hope you enjoy browsing the images we captured of this winter wedding at the School House in Fairview, Pa!

Stunning Wedding at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Erie, Pa
Family was the thing that stood out most at Corey & Ashley’s Wedding at St. Peter’s Cathedral in downtown Erie, Pa. Although the cathedral was undergoing some remodeling, the wedding was still stunning. Because the wedding was in mid-autumn the couple chose a warm, vivid color palette full of oranges, reds, and yellows to bring the season to life. Both the ceremony and following reception at Caper’s Catering in Erie, Pa were decorated beautifully.
The bride got ready at her parents house surrounded by her loving family. Both of her sisters were in the bridal party as well as her sister in law. Our team was there to capture the memories and laughter. We met up with the groom at the church with his party filled with tons of family. There was just enough time for some photos of the groom’s dad pinning on his boutineer before the ceremony began. An elegant catholic ceremony followed with the proud father of the bride escorting his daughter down the aisle.
Following the ceremony, which we captured alongside Erie Videography, we traveled to Winter Green Gorge for formals with the bridal party and newlyweds. The scenery was breathtaking. Both photo and video worked side by side to document the moments. After we finished with formals we joined the team at Erie DJ Entertainment at Caper’s where the guests were already enjoying the cocktail hour. The DJ team had prepared a video slideshow featuring the couples journey through childhood and their relationship leading to this day. The video included some of the engagement photos we’d captured earlier in the spring. Grand Entrance, Cake Cutting, and First Dances were all filled with warmth and excitement. After the formal festivities the newlyweds celebrated into the night with their guests. It was an amazing day.
